Beyond Form: Where Design Meets Humanity in Contemporary Sculpture

I am convinced that sculpture can still make an important contribution to our aesthetic and cultural experience today, thanks to its ability to bring together design, emotion and contemporaneity. I invite you to see my works, engage with them and let them move you.

In my view, contemporary sculpture is never an end in itself. It interacts with the emotions of those who look at it, with the design of the space and with everything around it. In this sense, the idea of design is central to my approach to sculpture. I believe my works offer a complete aesthetic experience in relation to architecture, interiors and light.

It is not simply a matter of "decorating" a space, but of making it more moving and meaningful. My desire to capture the essence of the human being, with its moods and contradictions, lies at the heart of my sculptures, which are often figurative and strongly expressive. My works are meant to spark conversation, stir emotion and invite reflection.

This is why the process of "designing the model" is essential. Every sculpture begins with an idea, a sketch or a maquette that then takes shape in materials such as bronze, resin or marble. The choice of material is itself a design decision that shapes the atmosphere and the message of the work.

This is also where the "art gallery" comes in. It is more than a place of display: it is a true stage where my sculptures engage with the public, with other artists and with other art forms. Seeing them alongside other contexts, such as installations, paintings and photographs, allows me to discover new layers of their meaning.

Finally, I would like to stress how essential it is to be a "contemporary sculptor". It means taking responsibility for one's own time, with its challenges, concerns and opportunities. It means experimenting with new materials and techniques while remaining true to my training as a sculptor.
