Public sculpture can capture attention, interrupt the daily routine and spark conversation. In a hectic and often anxious environment such as a hospital, "L'ascolto" offers a place of calm and reflection.
This sculpture is only the beginning of a journey. I hope "L'ascolto" will inspire and encourage people to open up to dialogue, develop empathy and build deeper, more authentic relationships.
The unveiling of "L'ascolto" was a major event. Many people expressed their gratitude for the work by attending the ceremony. Numerous newspaper articles and television reports featured the sculpture, drawing greater attention to the theme of empathetic listening.
Unveiling my monumental work "L'Ascolto" at the Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan is a meaningful moment for me, not only because of its beauty and the importance of the place where it has been installed, but also because of the message it carries: the precious value of empathetic listening.
