Lucio
OIliveri was born, lives and work in Milan. For some year now, he has identified
himsel in a personalized figurative that aims to express states of mind
and human attitudes through the synthesis/essential of the human
figure. He has received many aknowlegements and awards. His work have been
and are exhibited in countless galleries and artistic show rooms.
Lucio
Oliveri is a sculptor that uses bronze without being prisoner of merely
aesthetical finalities, his aim is to teach the observer how to appreciate
the consistency and the potential expressivity of this matter. The surface
of this manufacts is in part rough, where the shadow gets trapped, kept,
in part polished and mirroring, where the light generates sparking reflexes.

THE SOLID SHAPE OF AIR
...
Right from the start Oliveri had the good fortune to reveal the creative
ability to blend form and content in a structurally achieved vision. Though
his initial training was eminently classical, he went on to develop a personal
take on sculptural form that was the product of exquisite sensibility combined
with manual skills, which by focusing on the essence, eschewes the merely
decorative and fluorishes to highlight the figural content of the work.
All this has helped him to create sculpture thet needs no signature to
be instantly recognisable as his own in its significance and immediacy
of form ...
What
sets Oliveri apart from other twentieth century sculptors is a distinctive
vocabulary that operates at two levels of meaning. On the one hand, the
fragmentation that allow individual body parts to act as expressive underlinings.
And, at another level, a poetic narrative invention that offers the viewer
empty space as a concealment of the unsaid, so that paradoxically, it is
precisely that vacancy which engages the viewer in a dialogue that although
expressed in symbols, is entirely

l’arte è nell’accezione kantiana, una finalità senza fine,
la Bellezza è sempre per Kant “forma della finalità di una
cosa, in quanto essa vi viene percepita senza la rappresentazione di un
fine” .Per Lucio Oliveri è forma della finalità di un ente
umano in quanto essa viene percepita come rappresentazione di un fine (amore
che irradia, … sentimento… maternità… carica umana… riserbo, dialogo,
colloquio intimista…percezione introspettiva… sensazioni…
